Annotation | The psychometric properties of the Chinese version of Thurstone Primary Mental Ability scale (PMA-C scale) were investigated in a cross-sectional survey of a representative community sample of 413 Hong Kong Chinese over 40s. Relations between five factors of the PMA-C scale (spatial relation, inductive reasoning, number skill, verbal meaning, and word fluency) were examined; all five were positively and significantly related. The scale's reliability, convergent validity, and internal consistency were established. (RH). |
