Annotation | Hearing the Voice of People with Dementia is a project exploring the process of staff, rather than outside researchers, undertaking service user consultation work with people with dementia. In this last of three articles, the author encourages a flexible approach to service user consultation, and a willingness to find ways of getting started, even though conditions may not seem ideal. The value of communication between people with dementia and staff working with them is shown to be an effective and positive experience. (RH). |
