AnnotationHealth promotion evaluation remains a topic of intense discussion amongst practitioners, researchers and policy makers. This issue of Critical Public Health includes two papers presented at a workshop under the auspices of the British Heart Foundation on four evaluation themes identified by the World Health Organization (WHO) Health Promotion Evaluation Group: participation, capacity building, multiple methods, and appropriateness.
