Annotation | The objectives of this study were to develop an interest inventory of games for use with older adults, and to identify older adults' preferences for specific games. The study involved 92 respondents aged 60-95, with 48 games of interest to at least 5% of respondents comprising the final interest inventory. The study concludes that games are a purposeful activity that hold high interest for older adults and consequently have significant value as therapeutic tools for occupational therapists. (KJ/RH). |
