Annotation | The former Health Education Authority's Active for Life Campaign and its 1997 conference raised a great deal of awareness and interest in the the benefits of physical activity in later life. The BASES-AGED Project was commissioned by the HEA. It aims to collect information on activity in higher education concerned with older people, sport, exercise, and active leisure. This audit focuses on three areas: curriculum; research activity; and support relating to interventions and programmes for older people. (RH). |
