Annotation | Low levels of knowledge about Alzheimer's disease (AD) were found in a sample of 220 Israeli family caregivers of older people with AD. Levels of knowledge were especially low for information on the prevalence, causes and symptoms of AD. Low educational attainment and being a spouse were the most important factors associated with poor knowledge. (RH). |
