| Annotation | Age Concern England (ACE), working with the Housing Associations Charitable Trust (HACT), has received funding from the Housing Corporations's Innovation and Good Practice Fund, to look at good practice in the provision of housing advice for older people. This paper outlines the findings of the project's first two stages. The first, a survey of existing housing advice providers, looks at types of agency, the proportion of clients who are older people, and types of enquiry. The second is on national and local initiatives in housing advice for older people. Older people are generally under-represented as clients of existing housing advice agencies, many of which were unable to provide information on the proportion of their service users who were older people.
