Annotation | The development of two ageing scales is described. The first, a 30-item version of the Lannacombe Enquiry, measures externalised ageism. The second, the Rame Questionnaire, measures internalised forms of ageism. This article reports on use of these scales with 40 people attending a day centre for older people in a town in Cornwall.
