Annotation | In the spring of 2000 people from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland were invited to enter the Age Concern Scotland millennium poetry competition "This poem will last a thousand years". This is an anthology of the result of the competition and includes the prize winners; amongst them were published poets and people who had never written a poem before. The youngest poet was eight years old and the oldest was over ninety. The competition judges were: Myles campbell, Janet Macinnes and Eileen Wilson. (KJ). |
