Annotation | Literature in long-term care, demography and geography is used to develop an initial conceptual framework to explain variations in patterns of nursing home moves. Data from US state censuses suggests that, in the process of admission to a nursing home, a relatively high proportion of nursing home residents move to a different county. (RH). |
