Annotation | The "Lifestyle Monitoring System Trial" (LMS) is a telecare system defined as "a remote or enhanced delivery of health and social care services to people in their own homes by means of telecommunications and computer based systems". This paper describes the field trial undertaken by Anchor Trust with British Telecom (BT). The aim of the LMS was to overcome the basic problem of an alerting system that has to be activated by the user. (RH). |
