Annotation | A study of 245 participants in the home-delivered nutrition programme in two rural North Carolina (NC) counties supports the association between high risks for poor nutrition and of functional disability. It underscores the importance of nutritional and functional screening as an antecedent for community-based targeted interventions to help older people to remain independent and living in their own homes.
