Annotation	This comprises principally of a report of the paper by Murray Hunt, a practising barrister and member of Matrix Chambers, a new legal practice specialising in constitutional and international law. He outlines the most relevant rights in the Human Rights Act and its practical implications for issues affecting older people: health, housing, income, disability, education, consumer protection, access to information, and decision making. Delegates from a wide range of organisations, including older people's groups, carers, charities, nurses, advocacy groups and law practices discussed the implications of the Act for the groups and clients they represented. This brief report is prefaced with remarks by Sarah Spencer of the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR).
