Annotation | Distance education, one of several contemporary trends in higher education, allows for an increase in collaboration across disciplines and institutions which can enhance gerontology education. This article focuses on the two-way video classroom, and presents an analysis of the costs and benefits of institutional collaboration for this form of online course. The role of the two-way video classroom in the ultimate convergence of other forms of distance education is also noted. (KJ/RH). |
