Annotation | The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) are to publish a White Paper on communications reform in late 2000, and Age Concern England (ACE) has been invited to submit comments. The main concern is that the principle of universal access to broadcasting and telecommunications is maintained and not jeopardised by the rapid changes in telecommunications, broadcasting and information technology. ACE's submission concentrates on broadcasting and its regulation. (RH). |
