| Annotation | This publication gives statistics for the resident population of Great Britain by sex, age and marital status from the Census 1991. This report only counts resident people i.e. those who were resident in an area whether or not they were present on Census night. As the method of enumerating people resident was revised in 1991, with the inclusion of wholly absent households, this inclusion provides a more complete count. (KJ). |
