AnnotationThe outcomes of initiatives used for delivering and assessing a multi-professional, multi-level entry and exit programme in geratology (applied gerontology) are evaluated. The reported experiences and outcomes for students and teachers suggest that in post-qualification practice courses at least, teaching and assessing simultaneously at DipHE, PGDip and MSc levels seems to be both possible and acceptable. Students do not appear to be disadvantaged by simultaneous two-level teaching. Indeed, the study suggests that both students and teachers gain from the opportunity to engage in multi-level shared learning. (RH).
