AnnotationThis informal newsletter covers some eighteen months of its three year existence. Further dissemination of AgeNet's work took place using electronic mail and the internet. AgeNet was an initiative sponsored and funded by the Medical Research Council, BUPA, Research into Ageing, SmithKline Beecham and Westminster Health Care. It also received funding from the Government's Foresight Challenge. AgeNet's mission was to create a research network to produce partnerships in the area of health and quality of life of older people. David Metz was the Director of AgeNet during its three year project life. (KJ).
