AnnotationThe importance is highlighted of including a sexuality and ageing course as a distinct part of an MA in human development and gerontology curriculum in the US. Despite growing interest and literature in the field, there have been few attempts to integrate sexuality into course curricula. Descriptions are presented of: an initial pilot course and the follow up course; a critical review of the literature, including comments; student evaluations; and suggestions for future course content. The article critically discusses specific books and articles that are most relevant and appropriate, describing their limitations. Recommendations for course development, educators and future research are discussed. (RH).
