Annotation	This international journal was established in 1975, with a multidisciplinary editorial board, to promote the study of contemporary medico-moral problems. Papers published on all aspects of health care ethics, analyses of ethical concepts and theories and features case conferences and comment on clinical practice. From 2000, two supplements per year (June and December) are published under the title "Medical Humanities". These supplements will focus on how the humanities (including poetry and literature) can illuminate the nature, goals and practice of medicine. Book reviews are included. Published six times a year.
