AnnotationThe aim of the guide is to increase awareness of the specific characteristics of older homeless people, and to give examples through case studies of how their needs can best be met in a practical way. The projects described have in common the provision of innovative services and interventions which are working successfully with older homeless people. Publication of the guide coincides with a national seminar organised by Help the Aged to stimulate the provision of new services for older people, and to exchange information on strategies required for sustainable success.
