Pages | pp 23-25 (article 7 of 7) |

Annotation | This article concludes the author's series of articles on communication with the person with dementia. In it, she describes how she has found Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) an invaluable framework for making sense of the experience of dementia from the person's point of view, as well as that of professional and family carers. PCP describes how people go about the task of living, adapting and changing, in which behaviour is seen as an experiment to test out our theory of the world. (RH). |
