While many of the issues identified concern planning and delivery of services to children with learning disabilities, the report also considers specialist health services such as for people with challenging behaviour. Among the recommendations are: provision of and access to advocacy services; availability and range of day care opportunities; access to equipment for people discharged from hospital; and availability of clinical psychology, pharmacy, and speech and language therapy.
