AnnotationIn January 1989, all those who had graduated at the end of 1988 and aged 60+ were invited to look back on their years with the Open University, and to reflect on those aspects which had been important to them. The first section of the report sets the scene and outlines previous studies carried out by the Older Students Research Group. Other sections are built around the replies from older graduates, and consider reasons for studying, the OU system, experience of study, and graduates' sense of achievement. The main discovery has been that there are few differences between older students and other adults studying with the OU. (RH).
