Annotation | This study aimed to identify all statutory, voluntary and private agencies which provided domiciliary care in Scotland, and to examine the availability and range of domiciliary care service provision across all sectors, using a sample of the agencies. The findings are divided into the following sections: Scottish regional authority and health board policy and practice; domiciliary care providers in Scotland; description of the various sectors; types of domiciliary care provided; accessibility and flexibility of service provision; training; and funding and charging.
