Annotation | Issues of training for continuing citizenship were considered at a study day held at the City Lit, Bolt Court in June 1992. Ideas for discussion concerned five practical curriculum areas of training and education for older citizens: income: pensions and benefits; income and employment; women's studies; English for speakers of other languages and older refugees; older people who are carers; and training and skills for voluntary and unpaid work. This is a report of the discussions and workshops. (RH). |
