Annotation | This newsletter style report is aimed mainly at the older people who attended the 1999 UK-wide programme of 11 "Listening to Older People" events. These events were organised under the auspices of the Inter-Ministerial Group on Older People, chaired by the Rt. Hon Jeff Rooker MP. It gives the dates, venues and a very brief outline of what the events involved. The opinions and suggestions made by older people at these listening events have been collated into a report produced by Warwick University, "Building a better society for older people - report on the listening events to the Inter-Ministerial Group for Older People".
