Annotation | EQUAL, a multidisciplinary team, was developed to provide ongoing assessment, support and training to all residential and nursing homes in the Maidstone area, to enhance quality of care to older people with dementia. The authors describe the EQUAL workshop which aims to show care staff how they can make a real difference to residents' lives by engaging with them - especially through sensory activities - during routine care.
