Annotation | More than half a million people in the UK have dementia, the most common form of which is Alzheimer's disease (AD). Dementia is also a feature of the advanced stages of both Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease. This article outlines the genetic bases of these three diseases that cause dementia in their later stages. (RH). |
