Annotation | The needs of older people with dual-sensory impairments are often ignored or neglected. The challenges they face are enormous, but much can be done if the will - and the funds - are forthcoming. The work of Sense, The National Deafblind and Rubella Association in this field is highlighted, which includes residential care, resource centres, promoting awareness and training for both workers in the community and residential homes and the work of communicator guides funded by local authorities.
