| Annotation | The incidence of sub-clinical malnutrition in the community is difficult to quantify. However, a recent national survey, the National Diet and Nutrition Survey on people aged 65 years and over, has highlighted the presence of malnutrition among older people living in the community. This article summarises the findings, discusses the clinical implications, and advises on nutritional assessment of older people. (AKM). |
