| Annotation | This issue of Journal of Geriatric Drug Therapy updates an earlier issue (vol 5, no 1, 1990) in its coverage of the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus in older people. Articles provide the latest information on management of type 2 diabetes, with an emphasis on oral agents. Reference is also made to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) guidelines which suggest the trial of all oral agents before resorting to insulin.
