AnnotationThis is one result of three years of co-operation by a multinational group, sponsored by the Socrates programme of the European Union (EU). The bibliography has been developed as an outcome of collaborative work across several European countries to produce a common teaching and learning module in European social work. References were compiled by searching 14 databases and the Internet. The following themes are covered both for comparative studies and single country studies: children and families; disability (physical and learning); mental health; offenders; older people; social work education; and general issues on social work. Most are accompanied by abstracts. (RH).
