Selection, optimization, and compensation as strategies of life management: correction to Freund and Baltes (1998) | Author(s) | Alexandra M Freund, Paul B Baltes |
Journal title | Psychology and Aging, vol 14, no 4, December 1999 |
Pages | pp 700-702 |
Keywords | Well being ; Life satisfaction ; Attitude ; Germany. |
Annotation | The purpose of this correction note is to report an error of data scoring in a study published previously in Psychology and Aging by the authors (Freund and Baltes, 1998). Because of the error, the data reported previously were re-analysed. Except for finding a lower positive manifold involving the three components of selection, optimisation, and compensation (SOC), the outcome of this re-analysis supports the major findings previously reported.
