AnnotationThis annex draws the attention of local authorities to the draft grant report for the Promoting Independence: Carers Special Grant. It includes the draft of Special grant report no 58 under Section 88B of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, to be laid before the House of Commons. This annex sets out guidance for local authorities on meeting conditions which, subject to Parliamentary approval, will be attached to the grant for 2000/2001; and provides details of the procedure for submitting evidence of compliance to the Department of Health (DoH).
