| Annotation | Formerly: Review of Social Policy. The change of title reflects an organisational change in 1998. The National Institute is a government research organisation, established in 1996. The principal purpose of the Institute is to serve as a bridge between scholarship and public policy, through research in the relationship between population, economy and social security. The journal aims to publish research articles on population and social policy contributed by staff researchers and guest scholars. Relevant individual chapters are indexed for the CPA Library. Book reviews are not included. Published once a year. No annual index but issue number 8 has a cumulative index. The 2001 issue was the final one in print but a future journal is planned for online access only entitled: Journal of Population and Social Security.
