AnnotationThe CarenapD is an assessment tool which is intended to provide a holistic needs assessment of people with dementia and their carers in the community. This manual is intended to promote a consistent use of CarenapD. It sets out guidelines for using the assessment tool, lays out the changing context in community care for people with dementia and their carers, and sets a standardised interpretation for the various sub-scales.
