AnnotationThe mission statement of this pilot scheme is to provide an energy efficiency service to pensioners across household tenures. The authors propose to target energy efficiency capital improvement and advice to the following household categories: owner-occupied pensioner households in receipt of means-tested benefits; owner-occupied households not in receipt of a means-tested benefit; and tenanted households. This report describes the pilot project promoted and offered to Newark and Sherwood District Council pensioner tenants. It was produced as part of Age Concern England's (ACE) campaign work for the European Year of Older People and Solidarity Between Generations 1993. (KJ / RH).
