AnnotationThe consultation referred to aims to improve the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES); and in general, Age Concern England (ACE) supports the proposals. However, it considers that to eradicate fuel poverty, there is a need for a national strategy to co-ordinate all schemes that could contribute to alleviating fuel poverty by improving the energy efficiency of housing. This policy paper outlines ACE's support and dissent for proposals in the consultation. (RH).
