| Annotation | The consultation referred to aims to improve the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES); and in general, Age Concern England (ACE) supports the proposals. However, it considers that to eradicate fuel poverty, there is a need for a national strategy to co-ordinate all schemes that could contribute to alleviating fuel poverty by improving the energy efficiency of housing.
