AnnotationThe effect is explored that a Family-Based Structural Multisystems In-Home Interventions (FSMII) with a Computer Telephone Integration System (CTIS) has on caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease (AD) in their ability to engage in leisure activities. This article describes, from the point of view of caregivers, how engagement in leisure activities has been negatively affected. Their personal accounts illustrate the uniqueness of FSMII and CTIS in working through the barriers encountered in the process of accessing or engaging in leisure activities. (RH).
