AnnotationEuronut Survey in Europe on Nutrition and the Elderly, a Concerted Action (SENECA), is an international mixed longitudinal study which was initiated to study the relationship of diverse food cultures in their social context with the health and performance on older people in 12 countries in Europe. This supplement presents the first descriptive results of data collected on about 2,600 older adults aged between 70 and 75 years in Europe, focusing on demographic, social, diet, mobility, and health aspects.
