On behalf of the Health Education Authority (HEA), CPA undertook a comprehensive review of key health issues for older people and the priorities for health promotion activities. The review includes the scope for disease prevention and health promotion; current initiatives on health promotion for older people in England and some international comparisons; creating a policy framework for promoting the health of older people; emerging issues and strategic themes.
